Been a while…sigh. We’re in a “third wave” of infections, since the first and second waves were never controlled.
It’s hitting WA pretty hard too, although we are doing WAY better than the rest of the country now. Sturgis was definitely a superspreader event, no surprise.
Fucking Trump lost, but of course he refuses to concede. Filing lawsuits all over the land to try and overturn elections. When I look at batshit sites like gab.com, people are absolutely brainwashed. They think Fox news is too left-wing, and that Trump is going to somehow hold on to power. Funny and sad.
Ellie is doing a lot better. She still gets stressed a ton about covid, but she’s learning to deal with it and has had lots of joyful moments lately. She’s laughing a lot again 😁
I had an awesome bike trip with Joel and Ryan in Arizona. Such beautiful scenery, and I was able to 100% decompress from work and home life. There are always so many hilarious stories from these trips. It was stressful making the trip during covid, and Ellie was worried about me getting infected, but I really needed it. She’s good with it now and I got a negative covid test after coming back.
